1. Hail a water taxi and take a leisurely sunset ride through our "Venice of the East" Kampong Ayer, on the past the home of the Sultan, Istana Nurul Iman, to the leafy riverside park of Taman Persiaran Damuan. As evening descends on your return journey, watch for low-lying snowy white egrets and notice how the stars are mirrored in the tranquil estuary surface.
