I was here -- the 49th Sakura Matsuri-Japanese Street Festival at 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW in conjunction with Cherry Blossom Festival. Missed the parade in the morning.

What was on during the festival: 5 stages, japanese food, J-Pop land, ginza market place, arts & culture, sake tasting, beer gardens, children's corner, performing arts, martial arts, Japan travel info, matsuri markets, meet "Mr. Sudoku" and sushi masters.
A Japanese comedian... I stopped-by to listen his jokes... didn't get his jokes tho... hahaha

I just couldn't believe -- there were long ques wherever stalls sell food! The people probably love the Japanese food so much.

Taking a break... What a nice weather today...

Daging salai?!

Mee goreng -- anyone?

Even ada mobile ATM machines -- how convenient!

A group of Japanese ladies performed a traditional dance.

Strolling around the Capitol Hill park...
